Find your perfect job through EO.
Find your job.
At EO, we want you to find you your perfect job. To do this, we need to learn about who you are and how you think.
To do this, EO takes each student through a multi-stage process. This process delves into a combination of pscyhometric and experiential analysis to tell us as much as possible about you.

Our Process
Stage one: a morning with EO.
For this process to be worthwile, it is imperative that EO gets to know you. To do this, we invite you to a morning with EO. This includes:
-
Each morning at EO begins with an introduction. This introduction takes you through the EO process, how it works and what we aim to achieve.
-
Many students write and develop their own CVs at school or during University. But, at EO, we have a very particular list of what we want to understand. So, we begin the process by inviting all participants to design their very own EO CV.
-
We then invite all students to complete two psychometric tests. Spread out over the course of an hour, these two tests are designed to paint a detailed and individualised image of each participant.
-
Finally, each participant is then provided with a bespoke and randomised list of job roles. This list is designed to test each student's pre-existing preferences within the work place.
What we do.
-
Experiential Analysis
A student's academic background, internships, extracurricular activities, and volunteer work all provide a foundation of knowledge and competencies that can make them more suitable for certain roles.
By understanding their unique experiences, EO can tailor job recommendations that not only match the student's qualifications but also offer the right level of challenge and growth. This personalized approach increases the likelihood of the student securing a role that not only fits their skill set but also helps them advance toward their long-term career goals. -
Psychometric Testing
Psychometric testing offers valuable insights into a student’s personality traits, cognitive abilities, and work preferences, which can significantly enhance the job recommendation process. By assessing factors like problem-solving skills, communication style, and how they respond to stress or teamwork, psychometric tests provide a deeper understanding of the roles where students are most likely to thrive.

Career Evaluator
Allowing students to vote on the jobs they like and dislike provides a highly personalized and interactive way to explore their career preferences, giving them agency in the decision-making process.
By actively selecting jobs that appeal to them and rejecting those that do not, students can clarify their interests, values, and motivations. This approach helps career advisors identify patterns in the types of roles or industries that align with the student’s preferences, offering more targeted career recommendations
Stage two: The EO profile.
Using the information taken from the morning, EO then creates a completely unique 15 page profile for each participant. Each profile contains:
-
We begin the report by outlining what we have learnt from the participant's psychometric results.
This includes their ideal work environment, how they can best be managed, what their key motivations are likely to be and how they can fulfill their own potential in the workplace. -
Using a combination of the participant's experiential and psychometric results, EO provides each student with a list of the roles that suit them best.
-
Whilst all suggestions are supported by an EO suitability score, each of the top three matches are presented with the following information:
- Our reasoning: what makes them, specifically, suitable for the role.
- Job market information: what the role is, what it's career and salary prospects are, how to get into the role, and what skills are necessary for the role.
